JEFF TOISTER has been training since 1994 for a variety of both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Most recently, he spent 4 years as the Director of Training and Development for Ace Parking, managing the training function for 4,000+ employees. He is currently the owner of Toister Performance Solutions, which specializes in helping organizations improve customer service and employee performance. Jeff holds the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential and is active in the San Diego Chapter of ASTD (The American Society for Training and Development), serving on the Board of Directors since January 2005.

JANIS AVILA SWARTZ has over 12 years of human resources experience. Currently, she provides consulting and training through her own Human Resource Consulting Firm, Avila Swartz Consulting. Janis recently held a position as Manager of Employee Relations for AMN Healthcare, Inc. in San Diego. Previously, she consulted for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Inc. (MGM) in Los Angeles as part of the Human Resources Transition Team following the merger and acquisition of MGM by Sony Pictures Entertainment and other private investors. Her areas of specialization include employee and management relations, performance improvement, training and diversity programs. |
