In this clinic, you will learn how to develop a grant proposal through a hands-on learning process that affords you the opportunity to work on a specific grant proposal for your organization. In addition to leaving this clinic with a compliant, competitive grant proposal draft in hand, you will learn:
- A seven step process to write an effective, compliant, compelling grant.
- How to manage the grant proposal development process within your organization.
- Ways to strengthen key proposal components including program models, logic models, and evaluation metrics.
- The basics of grant budgets, including working with templates and critical concepts such as in-kind, match, and leveraged resources.
During the four sessions, a lot of material will be covered, and each week you will have time to make progress on your own grant proposal. Materials will be provided as needed during class sessions.
