Course Overview: This workshop is in our virtual classroom. You will receive a ZOOM invitation, login instructions, and pre-workshop activities to be completed before entering the virtual classroom. You must provide an email address in order to gain access to the classroom.

One must follow applicable HR laws when recruiting, hiring, evaluating and promoting established or potential team members When interviewing, one must use best practices. In this workshop, participants will:
*Self-reflect on previous hiring situations that provided opportunities for growth.
*Reflect upon the role organizational culture plays in selecting appropriate applicants.
*Discuss critical success factors and performance standards required for the position.
*Explore the use of an interview tool that minimizes risk and provides insight into a potential employee’s level of emotional intelligence, culture fit and competence.
*Develop an action plan to increase skills and confidence in the hiring process.

Who should attend: Individual Contributors, Emerging Managers, and Managers.
